We finally have a strong and well organized opening course for White and one for Black. With these and the FREE beginner to master level playlist from this YouTube channel, it’s all about consistency over an extended period of time 😎💪 ⬇️

Chess 4 All: Take your game to the next level by mastering this crucial mental process. In Chess, it is not only about your own plans. You must pay attention to every single move your opponent makes before you think about your reply. Moves can be categorized as “attacking”, “defensive”, “neutral”, or “mistake”. Once you have determined the right category, you have to know what kind of move you will reply with. This concept might seem simple, but it is fundamental to continue to learn Chess the right way.

Learn how to play Chess the right way from beginner to master level. National Master Robert Ramirez will take you up the pyramid by following a proven Chess training program he has been improving and implementing for over 10 years.

Benefits of Playing Chess:
- Promotes brain growth
- Increases problem-solving skills
- It exercises both sides of the brain
- Raises your IQ
- Sparks your creativity
- Teaches planning and foresight
- Teaches patience and concentration
- Optimizes memory improvement
- Improves recovery from stroke or disability
- Helps treat ADHD

Chess is an intellectual battle where players are exposed to numerous mental processes such as analysis, attention to detail, synthesis, concentration, planning and foresight. Psychological factors are also present on and off the board; playing Chess stimulates our imagination and creativity. Every single move a player makes is the result of a deep analysis based on the elements presented on the battle field.

Chess in its essence teaches us psychological, sociological and even moral values. In a Chess game, both players start with the same amount of material and time. The fact that the white pieces move first is considered to be practically irrelevant —especially because a player typically plays one game as white and one game as black. Consequently, the final result of the battle solely depends on each player. It doesn’t matter if you win by taking advantage of your opponent’s mistakes or by simply avoiding mistakes yourself. Truth is that Chess is an extremely individual sport and our defeats can only be blamed on ourselves and no one else. And this, in the end, only benefits us because we learn to be and feel responsible for our actions and never come up with excuses to justify ourselves.

We also learn that when it comes to our victories on the board, our opponent's mistakes play a more significant role than our own skills. Let’s not forget that a Chess game without any mistakes would be a draw. This way, Chess provides us with another valuable life lesson: be humble at all times.

Such a helpful video! I've been playing chess for a little while and was either not improving or improving very slowly so I decided to return to the basics in order to fix my bad playing habits, your lessons are the most helpful ones out there, nobody else I've found has explained things in as much of an understandable and thorough way, thank you!

It helped me A LOT! I've been playing chess here and there during whole my life but I wanted to finally get to know the King's Game more consciously. I started to learn from basics and begun to watch your tutorials. I was analyzing opponent's moves, but wasn't categorizing them. Simple idea, but helps a lot when you find yourself in a clutch. Thank you for that!

Hello, only found your channel last night. As an older "newbie" chess player I have to say its a breath of fresh air. I'm working my way through your videos as we speak and I must say this thought process I really like. Even though it seems simple it's helped something click with me and improved my piece safety and board awareness. Please keep up the excellent content. 👏

I have been watching videos from this channel sporadically for the past two weeks, in a disorganized way, usually to take a break (with the sole intention of watching a chess-related video). From the beginning I was greatly surprised on how well organized the videos were, how much time Robert has taken to explain his thinking process. I have watched many chess-related Youtube channels and some are indeed good, but this has to rank among the best because is tailored to teach people. So, while watching one the videos I noticed how Robert constantly refers back to some of his previous videos. And then I decided to try them in an organized way (i.e. from 1 to the latest one). So I went, but in the process decided to skip the first few videos (as I already knew all the basic stuff). I kept opening every video, and skipped to the next one when I realized that it was something already known. Around video #12 I started looking more carefully, and finally the first video I watched entirely was this one (#14). Even though is still a fairly basic video, I found it VERY useful and this categorization of the opponent moves is indeed extremely important. I will now continue watching from this on, perhaps I will skip a few others, but I look forward to go through this process and hope to catch up with the entire series soon. Again, I have only been watching Robert Youtube channel for less than 2 weeks now, but I am very impressed and sincerely think that it is one of the best chess channels available. [And no, I will not be praising Robert the whole time, I also have some criticism for some of the videos I already watched, and will soon post my comments there. BUT, overall this is a fantastic chess channel and I can only wish that it keeps growing and improving]. ¡Muchas gracias Robert por el tiempo que le has dedicado a este canal y espero seguirlo en su totalidad! Love your chess lessons! I recently stumbled upon them when I was looking for something on the Pirc Defense. It has been a long time since I was active in the chess community. Even though I managed to obtain an ELO rating of over 1800 back in the day I know my chess skills have dwindled considerably. After finding your video on the Pirc defense I began looking at some of your other videos and I really like them. You have a good teaching style. I decided to start watching some of your earlier videos on the basics. I think they will benefit me and get me back up to speed and hopefully a little further than I was. I haven't played in a chess tournament in maybe 40 years. Maybe after I review your videos and start playing a little more I might start back. Thank you for putting this out there for everyone!!

As a beginner, this small tip helped me tremendously. So easy to get overwhelmed by all the choices one can make while the clock is ticking away.
This gave some much needed structure.
