Did your study handle the fact of different technical domains? Did you control for technical domain?

C++ is mostly used for safety critical, embedded and system programming. Those domains are focused on correctness, safety and applications that have inherently different life cycle than something like a web app.

Is it about the problem domain or just about the tool (language)? Does this study make any sense at all?
