Canon Powershot SX40 HS Tutorial: Step One - Camera Layout

I hope this will help people to use the Powershot Sx40 HS and to get what each button does. I will do more help videos in the near future if they seem to be of any use to anyone :)

GREAT TUTORIAL VIDEOS !!! The SX40 HS is my first digital camera. What a somewhat awkward transition going from 35mm to digital. The last camera I used (and still have them), was the Canon F1n and Mamyia RB67. That was back in the 1980's. I became paralyzed so I couldn't use them anymore. I wanted to get back into taking pictures but got lost in the "DIGITAL WORLD" of cameras. Your wonderful tutorial video made my decision on buying Canon SX40 HS. Thanks for sharing knowledge.

@THEELEECH That's great to hear it has helped. It's always a little heart-wrenching to make the change to digital but the nice thing is that we can still use 35mm cameras and the developing services are still there if we want to go back for a while.

Digital opens up a whole new world and the Sx40 certainly does a good job at showing many of the things digital can do, especially effects straight from the camera.

@Goodoldm I agree about the layout. The buttons definitely take a while to get used to but I feel that it actually just comes second nature to me now. Even though I do occasionally press the wheel instead of spinning it!
