Why is the comment section so filled with ignorance? Only the hybrid mod on the weapon is legacy. That's practically negligible.

And the build has been around for a *very* long time. Check the thread link in the description and look at the OP's date and the number of pages. It's nice to see something very well documented featured, since there are lots of references for both new players to learn from and veterans to compare against.

That said, it's not particularly flashy or fresh, but take it for what it is - and it isn't bad.

The build itself is not legacy, it is up-to-date and requires no legacy items at all. Chris was referring to the hybrid mod crafted on the claw. The build works great with Doryani's Catalyst as a more affordable option for endgame that is superior in some ways to the claw I'm currently using.

Good to see a different style of build and game play. All these scrubs crying clear speed are probably the same ones that only do copy and pate builds. Not brave (or intelligent) enough to try their own.

With the comment section it appears PoE has way too many elitists. Get your head out your smug ass not every player and build goes for max damage and its actually refreshing to see builds that focus more on surviving because even if its in stand you can look at the build and see if it will work on hardcore.

You don't know the reasons why this player plays on standard perhaps his PC can not handle hardcore d/c and die. I know many people who play hardcore and lag out and die to bullshit desync. I have died myself to desync I also have many levels on all leagues, this time round hardcore just not as fun to me.

Block might have been nerfed but it is still viable with Rumi's flask if you make a build that refills flasks just as quick you can have constant max block chance with a pretty high spell block.

It reminds me statement of RaizQT "Block is boring, there's nothing new in block after the last patch, you just need more block nods" and that's how it is. I still enjoy Aegis block build on Bloodlines.

I played this build. (didnt follow any build though it was all my own ideas) but it ended up being kinda boring really... I dunno if I just failed at making actually impactful block based build... maybe too much tankyness or just bad gear lol... it was kinda boring and slow, in my experience.

isnt "convert" the wrong word? i mean its get added on spellblock and you dont lose any normal block, if i use cold to fire it says "convert x cold damage to fire" and then i lose the cold damage, i hope that makes anysense

who cares about legacy builds, is a big problem not to reset the game after beta, so you try to make it cool but is not.

i sugggest a reset or a "new standard" because the recently fixed exploits.

Wait...so they seriously did a build of the week episode on a max block build? how is that interesting OR unique? obv props to the player for his work on the build and the character but I honestly don't think a max block build deserved a slot on build of the week.

Build is ok if u have no currency and just learning game from hardcore league. But stack defenses THIS crazy on standart?.. I mean, if u want to make MAXIMUM INDESTRUCTIBLE character, go CoC - Molten Shell for example.

nice! exept it takes forever to clear anything, i whould understand this build in Hardcore but in standard league? really gotts be the worst waste of gear ive ever seen..
