After 40 days, watching and learning from you, I am so happy that I can do some short conversation with a Spanish speaking person. Muchas gracias!

Hi, i’m mexican.

We also use the word “bueno” when we are starting a phone call, for example:

- Hello?
-Hi, how are you?

-Bueno?
-Hola, cómo estás?

Or, we also use “buen” when we are talking about something that is a lot, for example:

- I ran many kilometers, I got very tired
- Corrí muchos kilometros, me cansé un buen

PD: I’m still learning English, hope you liked this.

Hi Professor Evans,

Your videos and podcasts have been SO helpful for me this semester as I returned to taking Spanish 15 years after my last Spanish class. Thank you a ton!

One quick question; When you say "Es un chico bueno" and "Es un buen chico", are they basically interchangeable?
Like so long as you follow the basic rules you laid out, you can use either of them while speaking? Same with mal and malo? Just want to make sure I have this correct for my final exam 😂

Thank you again for the work you do! We sincerely appreciate it!

Wow!! I love this! Pretty interesting but in Colombia I can't tell if they said, "Bueno" or Buen" but sometimes it doesn't need to be perfect. They will understand.

Hello first I’ll start with telling you what a great teacher you are. You have helped me be the most advanced in my class in such a short time from watching your vids. Do you have a video talking about how to say, ”taking a bath or taking a shower?” Also is there Spanish slang to say taking a bath or shower? Pls help

Thanks again for a useful lesson. I suggest the “How are you doing?” situation is not helped by the reply in English that has crept into the UK over the past decades which is “I’m good / I’m doing good” rather than “I’m well / I’m doing well” used more by older generations. I don’t know if others have noticed this?
