A mistake from $349.00 to $1349.00 very much changes the my priorities and option points. Lol, but it would be nice if it was $349. I'm leaning towards a Nikon D5600 as it comes with what seems to be a decent bundle. Your thoughts on this model? (FYI, I'm a beginner as well, but looking for a camera to see if I'd even enjoy photography as a hobby or more.)

I've been watching quite a few of these camera reviews in the past few days and I've noticed that these Youtube videographers put a lot more emphasis on the video aspect of the camera than I think most people really care about. These reviewers have a skewed view of the feature because that's something they think about a lot because it's something that they use quite often, but isn't really that important to the average person. The rest of us are just looking for a decent photo camera that does that job well and the video aspect is just an afterthought. I like having the video feature, but it's not nearly as important to the average camera shopper than I believe most of these reviewers think it is.

Why is everyone so obsessed with shooting video at 60fps? I hate the look of 60fps. I prefer 30 or 24fps. I do love the 120fps for slow motion on my 90D. I had a Sony HDR HC-7 Handy Cam that could do the 120fps. For 3 seconds and then played it back as a 12 second clip. Except it downgraded the quality from HD to SD.

Suggestion: I think it's better that whenever you're speaking about the subject camera it should flash steadily for a moment on the screen so we can stop guessing which is which. Anyway if I have the budget i'm thinking either the eos R or the eos 90D, my eos60D is already a senior but still working. Could someone suggest w/c of the 2 options for me. By the way, I'm not a pro just an hobby. Thanks.

In the Canon system the dslm has a larger choice of lenses that the DSLR since the R system can use all EF lenses without any loss in ability. And then the RF mount lenses.

As for rugged - only the very high end Canon DSLR are any better than the EOS R/R5/R6

The 90D has DualPix only in LiveView not through the viewfinder, same for eye tracking.

I love my old Canon T3i that I gave to my daughter when I bought the Canon 80D. Then replaced ( Sold my 80D) in Janusry 2020 to a friend then bought my 90D. I also have the Canon 5D mark III I bought in 2015. Because being an old film photographer I just had to have a full size senser

The d7500 has a raw buffer of 50 not 36. Also has a jpeg buffer of 100 shots😁
