SimXperience Stage IV motion simulator TEST

Trying out my new rig on the rFactor Nordschleife.
Bottom line: it rocks!!

I´ve never tried a D-Box, but from what i can see its movements are pretty short.
And it doesnt have the rear traction loss module, which is one of the features i wouldnt want to miss.

But not this specific time. Was too focused on the motion :D
Actually this car has a seq. shift too....so i should have used that one instead.

go to the simxperience website. there is a very good description of this motion principle.
in short: it´s not about simulating g-forces, but fooling the inner ear.

Thats nice, like force feedback in your whole body, id like this more than one of those extreme rigs where you get thrown around like a rollercoaster

How actually do you feel in comparison with a real racing on track? I meant that the both wheel, screens and padel are fixed, but only seat moving as 2dof which is not actually sumulate true -g-force. Just like your view on this. thanks

@ronny302 $6000 for the full rig... I don't know of any car that costs so little except for the old bashed-up ones. Are you forgetting that there are plenty of other really hefty expenses when it comes to real racing?

Aber zum Selberbasteln braucht man Zeit und auch das Knowhow. Das kann nicht jeder. Ist für mich ähnlich wie mit diesen teure Lenkrädern a la TS500 oder Fanatech CSR Elite. Die sind zwar super verarbeitet und mögen auch etwas mehr Feedback geben. Aber für mich müsste das Lenkrad dreimal besser sein als mehr G25, damit ich den Aufpreis gerechtfertigt finde. Und das ist es einfach nicht.

6k for the rig..no way!! ill use that money as a downpayment for a brand new 125cc shifter kart or buy a pre-owned! if you too scared to drive a 3gs kart just wait some genius somewhere in hong kong or china mass produce a cheap motion rig...lol!
