F1 2024 Dutch GP Preview and Predictions

The Formula 1 Summer Break is over and F1 is back at Zandvoort for the Dutch grand Prix and the return of the home race for championship leader Max Verstappen as Red Bull will be looking to find a way to get back to winning ways but the competition as ever is going to be fierce as the Zandvoort circuit will be strong and suit both Mclaren and Mercedes making the competition once again very tough, Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri will be looking to add another win to Mclaren and Mercedes Lewis Hamilton and George Russell will be looking to make it 4 wins out of 5 races for the resurgent Mercedes.

Ferrari will also be looking to find a way to get back into contention with Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz looking for a way to get back to winning ways as the Scuderia has fallen back in terms of overall performance. Sergio Perez in the final Red Bull will be looking to recover and show Red Bull that he belongs at a top team.

The Zandvoort circuit in Holland is a classic old school circuit which returned due to the popularity of Red Bulls Max Verstappen, the first race happened in 2021 and Verstappen has won every race at this track since it returned but in 2024 it looks like he will struggle to win as Mclaren and Mercedes are breathing down his neck and the fight for the constructors is continuing to heat up.

We are yet to see if the upgrades that Mercedes introduced At Spa Actually work, If they do, I wouldn't rule them out especially as Hamilton is an absolute beast in race trim and rain could play a part yet again.

In my opinion mercedes were strong in spa because the tyre wear was much lower than expected and overtaking was very difficult due to tailwind and shorter drs zone. Once tyre deg becomes a factor i can still see them behind mclaren and redbull

Im gonna go for either lewis or max win. especially if theres rain. The top 4 teams were pretty close in spa and i think thats the case this weekend too. Also, nice preview man!

Things is max has been having quite mediocre results recently compared to his last few years of form, yet the man still finds a way to extend his lead in the championship, which i find both incredibly fascinating and to be honest abit sad. I know lando has little hopes of getting the title yet being the closest if mclaren did prioritize his results more like hungary, moments like that could make a difference if max starts experiencing some dnf due to mechanical failures or incidents. However i do expect mclaren to the constructors and im excited for the possibility of a drivers title battle next season between whoever puts the hands up for it
