FINALLY! Tasting Jackfruit For The First Time!!!👏🏽

Hey y'all! Me and Devin are back with another taste-testing video! Baby Mav decided he wanted to come along on the journey as well! Today we will be tasting JACKFRUIT! If you've been following me on my social media accounts, then you know that I've been searching everywhere for this fruit; well I finally got my hands on it and today you get to see us try it for the 1st time!

We eat this all the time in the Caribbean and we actually call it "breadnut" in Dominica. .. We mostly let fruit dry and fall from the tree then cook the seed inside.. glad you enjoyed it

My toddler just tried Jackfruit for the first time and she loves it😍 one of my favourites as well, we also make vegan ice cream with it at home 😊😊😊 love from India!

In Bangladesh we call it "kathal" and people love this fruit and buy it like crazy during the season....it costs around $2-$3 only ...also we use the jackfruit seeds in various dishes ...it literally tastes like a harder version of almonds ....also much love for such a cute video❤❤❤❤❤

I don't think I ever saw a YouTube video that made me smile more. Thank you for posting. I asked my 8 y.o. son today, is there anything you have wanted to try that you haven't so far? He said Jackfruit, and I was like oh my god! Really!? I'm afraid and that huge fruit is a bid commitment (money and tme). Let's YouTube are going to try it. Baby smile approved!!!

Jackfruit is sooo good. I eat it on sweet jasmine rice with a coconut sauce and it is sooo delicious

Jackfruit is great. Eat it all the time. Im from Jamaica. Never ate the seeds though. Im editing as the video goes along. I eat just like u just did. I dont dont do anything but cut a peice and peal them out n then eat it

Try pressure cooking the seeds in salt water till they get soft and they and damn healthy

Here in the Philippines, there is a variety of fruit we call Marang which is like the cross between Durian and Jackfruit. It is also smelly and taste a bit like durian but the peal is similar to jackfruit.

Jackfruit is an exotic fruit and one of the reasons why it’s so hard to really come up with what’s close to it in taste. I grew up eating Jackfruit and it’s a favorite. The seeds can be roasted or boiled and does taste like chestnuts. Love, love, love Jackfruit😊😊

Our second jackfruit was moldy on the outside in places. But the fruit was perfectly fine.
