Elton John is rushed to the hospital after an accidental fall at 76 years-old

Elton John, "Rocketman" himself at the age of 76, had a little oopsie-daisy over the weekend while at his villa in Nice, France. Can you believe it? The "Tiny Dancer" sensation took a bit of a spill and found himself in a place where even the glitziest of rhinestone-adorned walkers couldn't help him - the hospital!

Elton, ever the showman, was whisked away to the Princess Grace hospital's orthopedic center in Monaco for a little precautionary TLC. But fans need not to worry, his rep confirmed that it was all just a minor hiccup. A rep for Sir Elton (yes, we're talking about the knighted legend here) assured us that he's been discharged and is now back at his French digs, all in one fabulous, glittering piece.
Of course, we know that Elton John's no stranger to the spotlight. This musical icon has been spending his summer basking in the glories of the French Riviera alongside his hubby, David Furnish, and their two kids. It's like a living page out of a chic celebrity lifestyle magazine - until, well, the slipping incident, that is.

But let's not dwell on the tumble. Elton's been serenading us for over five decades, and his Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour recently wrapped up in a musical crescendo of emotions in Scotland in front of thousands upon thousands of the most loyal fans.

"I've had the most wonderful career, beyond belief. Fifty-two years of pure joy playing music. How lucky am I to play music? But, ya know, I wouldn't be sitting here and talking to you if it wasn't for you.
