Jonathan Hischke Synth Bass Destroyer

Jonathan brought this bizarre Roland Synth bass system which we then distorted like there was no tomorrow.

for the blind people who obviously watched the video from 20 feet away, or maybe are just stupid, you can clearly read "Roland G-77" on the bass, which means it's a Roland G-77 bass.

I heard this @ 10:28 PM this might get me kicked out. I played an old Pignose 60R Studio reverb and my Boss BR−50 multipedal…and…"who what who when what why why when why what where" repeated. I diagrammed the toggles settings. I didn't plug in the mic on that one. I recorded until I needed to pee. I seem to have sawed a Skretta. I seen 'em.

One thing I notice with some of these pedals is that the guitar as an instrument is in no way the most optimal way of controlling the effect. The tone is so destructed that a note from a guitar is no longer necessary. Has there been any thought put into created some sort of electronic device that could be used to control the effects, with instead of notes but frequencies that can be manipulated in some way, has anyone ever thought of hooking up a theramin to these things?

he uses this thing a bunch it seems and is always doing killer shit with it. you guys should do a project sometime. did he have that crazy 9x8" cabinet or whatever with him?

Well, I'm sure people have hooked up theremins to pedals, and we encourage as much experimentation as possible! I've had a lot of fun (and good sounds) from hooking up drum machines and synths to effects.

a bunch of noise with no playing. That bass can do so much and that was a complete waste of time....IMO.
