Dont just floor it immediately, to avoid skidding take about a second to push the pedal all the way down. it’ll launch quicker because you wont have tirespin

Rowing through the gears and controlling wheelspin and maybe some slightly wider tires and a 17-18” wheel helps put the power down

This. Put a sort of acute pressure on the gas instead of mashing it. RPMs will just let loose. Getting great results with my 2003 Toyota Camry. People are just afraid to hit the gas these days (even when they're trying to go fast). So the people that do look pretty damn good.

This dude earlier had a 2013 Chevrolet Corvette that he skidded out of the light with and HE COULDN'T FUCKING PASS ME. Literally made the burning rubber noise coming off the line, but probably only got up to 4000 RPM all because he accelerates in a ham-fisted way.

Not bad. The 04 3.0L hits 60 at 7.2 seconds. Both great times for a sedan even by todays standards.
