(You could use copper, aluminum, or gold-filled wires if you like, you could also use artistic wire for practice purposes, don't recommend it for wearing though. )

Tools I used:

6. 8mm diameter pencil as a shaper

You say use 20g wire but do you recommend a thickness of wire 0.6mm, 0.8mm etc

Thank you again!!! I just finished making the hearts in 20ga (0.8mm) 14k Yellow GF Sparkle Wire and with all that sparkle they turned out really beautiful! ❤️❤️❤️ The first ones in copper didn't turn out exactly symmetrical but I had a little trick to remedy that problem. I made both earrings at once and used the mirror image to curve the other half of the heart where it needed to be for perfection!
