I despise undercaps. Until someone invents a very breathable material I won’t wear them anymore. Suffered for 15 yrs wearing them . Cotton was the best, silk wasn’t breathable as it is claimed to be, and its high maintenance. And most of them put pressure on my ears and In turn all my studs, it is not pleasant wearing that for an hour. Plus I used to suffer from migraines a lot more when I wore them.

I still wear these jilbabs but not as much as the Malaysian hypoallergenic instant cotton polyester twill hijabs . They’re so cooling, my head feels cold in the winter . Hijab should
Be easy, not a burden, and it should be practical and a joy to wear. So choose garments you are happy in. If head caps work for you excellent ! If not find alternatives.

Ps I tried wearing an undercap in the Sahel region, that lasted for 30mins. It is stifling hot, hot like an oven. It would be torture to wear under caps in 50c temps or anywhere close to it .
