In my practice, I begin each planetary day the night before the actual day. For example, Thursday's night hours are actually Friday's night hours leading into Friday's daytime hours. Then, the hours listed as Friday's night hours are actually Saturday's night hours leading into Saturday's day hours and so on. Night hours come before the day's. That's what the Lemegeton seemed to say to me and I also recently found out that Jake Stratton Kent also uses that method. I've found it effective, but I'd like to know your view on this method.
On a side note, it seems the Hebrews began their calendar days with the night followed by the day, such as when Genesis I states concerning each day of Creation, "There was the evening and the morning of the 1st day."

I heard the opinion that the Magus (derived from Agrippa) etc. - these books have failed to distinguish planetary magic from Goetia.
