If we don't learn from history we are doomed to repeat it...
Unfortunately, we have not learned yet, and I can see that from some of the comments already...
Here's a young brother who wants to see unity, and is using the right equipment in our day and age, which is through social media to do it, through dialogue and with Love, and as he stands in courage speaking out boldly, some already want to shun him....
Even if Cyprus was not divided, or occupied or however you want to put it, as long as the people are devided, the island would always be devided...
Even when the island was one in territory, yet we killed each other, betrayed each other, sold out each other, either in the name of politics, or in the name of hatred, or disagreements, or even in the name of GOD...
And as far as saying we being Cypriots originally, think again, cuz last time i checked the island throughout the centuries has been occupied so many times by so many other nations, who planted their seed(if you understand what i mean) whether forcefully or by consent. So whether we like it or not, whether we want to say am Cypriot, or Greek Cypriot, or Turkish Cypriot or whatever, let's not forget that we all human beings, bleed red, and breath the same air under the heavens...
Last time I checked, we got Russians, Chinese, Polish, Romanians, Africans and the list goes on who are now Cypriots...
So we need to know who we are as a People, as a Nation, as an Island that only got independent in 1960 and not long after we lost it because of the lack of Love, Unity, Righteousness, and ignorance.
I can still hear the blood of all those who fell for our island, crying out of the earth, as they turning in their graves for our outcome...
We are devided by politics, economics, religion, by social statutes, and the list goes on....
And then we expect THE MOST HIGH GOD to help us, as we mock HIM and even put HIM out of our schools, in order not to offend those who don't believe in GOD.

It is very distressing to see a Cypriot uploading such a video on social media, especially these days, when fifty years ago today, your relatives or friends and dozens of Cypriots and Greeks who were fighting for the freedom of democratic Cyprus might have been killed. Particularly when the Turkish Cypriots desired the Turkish invasion and during that invasion not only applauded it, but many of them also aided in the illegal occupation of half of Cyprus. It is truly outrageous as a Greek to be so bothered and to see a Cypriot and a Elected member of the European Parliament with Cyprus wanting to compromise with this idea and to show that everything is fine with the Turkish Cypriots who illegally uprooted people from their homes and thousands of Turks came illegally and were named Turkish Cypriots in bloodstained Cyprus. I am truly saddened by what I see.
