The electric Dodge Charger moves at Dodge Speed Week, Las Vegas.

GoPro9 footage of the electric Dodge Charger driven around the grandstand at The Strip dragstrip, Las Vegas, during Dodge Speed Week on Mar 20, '23. The driver demoed the ICE-ish "revving" sound and it was as lame as you probably expect. I liked the faked "burbling" sound. Since EVs are so quiet, I bet the burbling would help prevent kids from being run down since the electric Charger is not stealthy by a long shot.

The design is outstanding. Not a bad line on it, and a spectacular update of the present Charger ( which I own ). If that car had a Hellcat engine Dodge wouldn't know how to keep up to the demand for it. Considering how awful the latest offerings from BMW and others look this car is amazing.

I still think it's silly to contrive an engine sound on an EV to mimic a combustion engine (can you imagine an electric stove being given LED "flames" to resemble a gas one?) but I'd still take this over the infernal choir piped in on many of today's EVs.

This can really do good for all the EV enthusiasts. I really like the car and the sound is better then it was before for sure. And there is many reasons why they are getting rid of the hemi. 1. They were selling them for years 2. Stellantis ruined the hemis unfortunately

Something about electric vehicles compared to gas powered and real engine cars... idk. It's like having a woman who has had numerous plastic surgeries, a BBL, and wears 10 lbs. of makeup, versus having a natural woman who isn't fake.

The body is fantastic. But that's it. Hybrid was the next logical step for SRT. Synthetic fuel, etc. Electric is the future - the far future. Infrastructure alone to power all EV vehicles is 30 years, minimum.
For some reason, Stellantis thinks the US is Europe. They are mistaken.
