What is Health Informatics?

As the nation’s health system reinvents itself as a digital system, health informatics professionals are playing a crucial role in conceiving, creating, and evaluating the massive information resources generated by the digital revolution. The Master of Health Informatics (MHI) program at the University of Michigan is preparing students for careers that will harness the power of information to enhance health and transform individual health and health care.
