Strange comment to make, but YEARS ago I used to watch this channel back when it was legoboy productions. I would leave negative comments on those videos for no real reason other than the fact that I was just a dumb jealous kid. I truly hope that those comments were not hurtful, but that is often not the reality. I am genuinely sorry for those comments. This channel has grown so much, and is truly one of the best Lego channels on YouTube. Despite my previous actions, this is a quality channel that did not and does not deserve negativity. Excellent review as usual David, thank you for all the hard work you’ve done

It is absolutely insane that this exists as a set. You would only see such things on conventions or in Legoland literally a year ago.

Fun fact about the colours of the Eiffel tower.

There are actually at least 3 different shades of paint used so that it looks homogenous from a distance. It's repainted every 7 years, and it takes 2 -3 years to paint it.

On it's lifespan, it went through 20 paint jobs, with variations in colours depending on the period. The tower was originally red, then went to yellow / beige taints, then reddish brown in the late 40s. It's been a while now that the tower is in it's current colours but I believe the ongoing job is a bit different due to the olympic games.

It was never grey though, even if this choice makes sense.

Anyway this monument is one of a kind, and I'm glad to see that lego gave justice to it. Thanks for the review.

This set feels like something that belongs in a LEGO museum, it's insane you can actually buy and build this yourself.

I'll probably never buy it because of the price and it wouldn't fit under my roof (I'm not about to put an artwork like this on the floor), but wow the scale and engineering in this build is something to marvel at. Just beautiful. Love that it's modular as well.

What a massive upgrade on its predecessor!

What next? LEGO had been going crazy with these massive builds. I want another ship like a cargo ship or a cruise line!

The intricacies of the sets Lego come out with are just out of this world. The level of detail is making Lego bring in a lot more adult builders. Yes the cost is always a factor but the level of detail in the Eiffel Tower is just mind blowing as well as other sets. The problem is with sets they bring out that are 18+, it’s finding shelf space…great review

I can't believe that not only did they engineer this set, they made it exactly 10, 000 pieces (the 1 being the brick separator). That must have been just fantastic luck but brilliant none the less

This is definitely a corner display set.
Great review.

I love how there’s a sense of power, a true presence and confidence when looking at this set. I feel like whether someone loves lego or thinks it’s a dumb thing for kids they would admire this and feel that presence regardless if they walked into a room and saw this. I’ve been watching you for over 12 years David and I really trust you as an artist when you tell about this. Thank you for building it for us!

Where you have put it in your living room looks really natural and at home. You've convinced me to pick up this set within the next year, so thanks for great video and a well informed review!

Years ago idk Lego YouTube channels were a thing but now this one is my favorite.

Also, that tower is a massive work of art and as beautiful as any living room painting 🗼

This with a lighting kit would be insane

I can hear it in my head...

Employee: "Boss, I finished designing the 5 foot LEGO Eiffel Tower! It's a whole 9, 973 pieces!"
Boss: "What! NO! That will simply not do! Redesign it so that it's 10, 001 pieces, that way we can say that the set is over 10, 000 pieces."
Employee: *Sigh*

Thanks David for the great review! Like you said, this Eiffel Tower is not for everyone, but what a masterpiece it is, when compared to its predecessor. I definitely would not consider getting it, but your video helps us admire the set and make an informed decision!
