1. A list of resistance strategies: Make it part of your *morning routine to go through them in order to actually remember and practice the things you've written on the list)
Furthermore, you can clarify the list by making emphasis on the things that are and the things aren't working for you.
2. A list of emotional regulation technniques: Replace unhealthy emotional regulation technniques with healthy ones and see what and what works for you. Start asking yourself higher quality questions that you should ask frequently. Figure out what traits the best version of yourself practices and ask yourself questions in relation to these traits (e.g if you want to embrace courage frequently ask yourself what would a courageous person do?).
3. Create a list of topics to journal on (problems to work through, things to make a decision on, beliefs to reframe; #1 a list of past stressors, #2 a list of current stressors & #3 a list of personality traits that you think are giving you stress)
4. Create a list of life areas
5. Create a list of moments, of media and of learning
6. Create a list of 12 questions

I'm a mental health clinician, and I think it's great that you're speaking to emotion regulation. I think a huge amount of people think they aren't allowed to feel their icky feelings, but then will constantly struggle against that. And there are also people who can get stuck in those feelings, and don't know what to do next, and the next step is literally to do the next right thing in the direction of who you want to be, even if it's a tiny small step. And all of it IS hard work and uncomfortable! So people will avoid discomfort and therefore avoid doing the work. Do the work, people 😅

For someone with adhd, I’m interested to hear what lists and strategies your sister uses. (I still struggle navigating in life because of adhd, so happy to hear more tips and tricks). But yeah, i know this isn't an adhd channel :) Anyway, thank you for helping me easier apply these lists in my everyday life! 🙏 In some ways it is lifechanging

I love brain dumping my ideas and thoughts. If I don’t, then I do forget small things that I really wanted to focus on. And before you know it, another month has gone by. Writing things down is being intentional. I love the ideas you have here!!

Thank you for this video. Lists are so helpful and important. For me journaling and writing is essential to express emotion. Lists are most helpful for memory and for to-dos. This is so nice.
Sometimes certain types of lists I never look back on.

I love lists for the benefits it has when it comes to clearing my mind and just turn messy thoughts into actionable steps. And this video will be good to come back to and reflect on when I found my current list system no more effective. But as of now, more lists ideas! YES!
