All these pro-life, anti-abortion people; but they don’t even want to make sure EVERY SINGLE MOTHER/FAMILY has access to a maternity ward? It is just insane that there was an over turn ruling of roe vs wade and the basic care for expecting mothers is almost non existent.

The insurance industry is one of the richest industry, and they pay a fortune to political candidates. The Senators and congress have done nothing in the last ten years about this problem. When I was a nurse in 1968 many African American Women in the General Hospital where I worked had twelve children. They had no access to birth control. We seem to have forgotten that statistic. At that time all the politicians were blaming African American moms for causing the state to have to pay them so much money. They lived in utter poverty. I was a visiting nurse in the projects. They were living in utter poverty. That is when I realized that politicians lie all the time. They just don't want to see the real picture. Many of them live in fantasy land. I had a patient that was raped by her father. I saw a fourteen year old mother. Maternity at General Hospital was not a happy place. I wish the Supreme court judges who made the latest ruling could have seen what I have seen. I suppose they all have money, and they don't treat women who are having babies. They just talk about it. I hate to be cynical, but I am. I am quite sure there are a number of our judges, Senators and Congressman who have paid for abortions for a fling. That will not change no matter what laws you make. People with enough money will always find a way to take care of their dirty laundry. It was that way in 1967. It will be that way from now on.

I mean... ... I'm just saying, but I live in Canada, and this isn't a problem in my country, in large part because we have socialized medical care. 🙃

There are also racial disparities not talked about in this report that impact the care that certain ethnic groups receive. Some providers treat certain patients differently and do not provide the same level of care due to their own bias and views. This is the reason why understanding the social determinants of health in healthcare is so crucial which includes understanding the impacts of race, language, education, etc. on healthcare.

During pregnancy women are not given paid leave? Or handmaids? Do you have a cultural thing of care given to those who are giving birth, to another? Or did you just commit a killing rampage, and like those gruesome paintings, describing what they saw, your best guess of a textual word "god"... followed by really cruel acts upon people. They are not another life being conceived carried and birthed into the world as another person.
