Did you know that Chamonix is officially called Chamonix-Mont-Blanc. It is a charming alpine resort town which is located at the foot of the famous Mont Blanc mountain. Although this town is located in France, Italy and Switzerland are not very far from here which makes it a popular tourist destination. It is renowned for skiing during the winter season. From here it is easy to reach Aiguille du Midi (the closest you can get to Mont Blanc using a lift system) and Mer de Glace (a glacier with some interesting ice caves).

As you see in the video, this town is encircled with mountain tops and has a magical and enchanted atmosphere. You can easily cover Chamonix in just a day as it is not very big. We definitely recommend strolling through the streets, eating at one of the restaurants and just soaking in the spectacular views all around you!
