3:51. The dock is not what boosts the performance of the OG or OLED Switch. The console itself is able to draw more power as it is connected to a power source and not relying on the battery. I'm pretty sure that the lite will be able to do the same with this kit as long as it receives the power it needs.

I looked at all the options but missed that the megakit came with a new mid frame and battery. This does suggest to me a higher capacity battery because removing the midframe (which includes the battery) from a lite is not difficult once you've already harvested everything else necessary for the mod.

Replacing just a battery though, different story; i dont know for what purpose Nintendo is using it but that is the strongest glue I've ever come across inside of electronics. DO NOT try prying that battery off the midframe while its still attached to the screen, you WILL destroy your screen.

Anyways, I ended up getting the touch+hdmi kit because I already have a custom shell, buttons and hall sticks, but ill be slightly disappointed if I missed out on a larger capacity battery.

Super tempted to pick up a Hyrule Edition Switch Lite and the mega pack here. I just bought and OLED a few months back though😂
I haven’t owned a Lite yet. Can you even connect Pro Controllers etc. to it, or are you completely locked to using the built-in joy-con controllers no matter what?

I pre ordered the mega kit on release day, I am hopeful for a larger capacity battery. Also looking forward to having the hdmi out. Although a color matched bezel would be great, I got the black mega kit that I will be installing in the hyrule edition switch lite to use as my daily over my totk oled switch.
