How do you see declining rates affecting BN? Would there be some kind of negative catalyst if we go back to 2% or so? I also like BABA but I think there is a valid reason why it has the low multiples it has. I don’t see it as a discount but more as geopolitical discount.. so even with DCF there’s no guarantee that stock price will follow. Maybe I’ll open a small position at 65 USD

You mentioned Amazon's move into direct international shipping from China and then talked about BABA, but no mention of how Amazon will potentially put pressure on BABA.

When you do a pessimistic case, such as for BABA, you should change the numbers to a bull case as well to give a reasonable ‘range’ that the stock will likely trade in in the future.

Charlie Munger always talked about how being pessimistic is NOT being conservative. All you’re doing is demanding cheapness. You’re not looking for the best businesses at a fair price. You’re demanding cheap businesses at the expense (so to speak) of some of the world’s best companies.

Hi Daniel, thanks a lot for your videos, very informative and enjoyable! Re: BN, although it produces good operating cash flow, FCF has been negative being a capital PPE intensive company, ROIC is only 4%, large debt with Debt/EBITDA 8.63. So it seems a good utility company but were is the excitement?

Most of the stuff from Temu is cheap (and lower quality) imo. But it is perfectly usable
belts and socks tend to be one size fits all - slim jim for belts, child for feet size. Other stuff is not too bad.

Pays to buy quality though imo.
