I hope whomever took the bag does the right thing and return it. My prayers go out to the family.

This where our rental car was stolen as well on a trip from Canada. The police recovered the car undamaged. We rented from Hertz rent a car for a month. Even though we were covered by insurance, Hertz never gave us a replacement car for our last 2 weeks and permanently banned us from ever renting another car from them again. We later found out that vehicles are regularly stolen from this location. Tourists should be very careful here. 3:15

Somewhere out there is someone who KNOWS who did this. They need to speak up. Here in Hawaii, what goes around, comes around. Worse will happen to them or their loved ones. MAKE IT PONO, DO WHAT IS RIGHT.

Most would say that they cannot imagine that kind of anguish but sadly, I lost my husband on our honeymoon 28 years ago, also in the ocean. It is supposed to be a fun beginning to a life together. Not everyone has a happy ending. My heart breaks for the bride, knowing this pain all too well. I hope that someone she knows sees this, so they can tell her that she is not alone. I am sending a virtual hug. 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Heartbreaking on so many levels. Sending love and comfort to the bride-widow, and all who loved her groom.

Brah, that is Kanaka land; 100% it was not some tourist who stole their items. Shame on whoever stole their items, and this should make known that just because you Hawaiian doesnt make you a good person.

Tourism, the military, and the agriculture are the main sources of income for the islands. How are we supposed to encourage the tourists to come if they are victimized while here? The young generation coming up is rotten. Not all of them, but a lot of them. No morals, no values, no aloha. They don't realize what a special and unique place Hawaii is. I'm born and raised here, grew up in the 60's and 70's. Hawaii was safe and sheltered from all the nonsense that happened on the mainland. Now we are as bad as every major city on the mainland. I feel sad that my grandchildren will never get to experience life in Hawaii the way that I did. Whomever stole the bags and rental car better give it back. People out there know who did it. Give it back. Those things are precious to that lady.

Nothing is safe anymore. You have to be on guard all of the time. Malls, stores, gas stations, etc. Very sad what things have come to in this day and age!

I almost drowned years ago at this exact same beach, 3 kids had to pull me back in on their paddle board. Those currents will pull you out to the middle of the ocean in seconds. If it were not for my 3 angels I surely would have died.

It's clear and disappointing that Hawaii has crime just like everywhere else.

Situational awareness is key - never leave your personal items unattended.

Wow, this reminded me of the one lady who was in a single car accident think she hit a pole or tree she passed away, instead of people helping her they stole the groceries she had just dude like serious, some people need to grow a heart and compassion. Like wth gave birth to those ugly hearted people. My condolences to the family.

Former Hawaii resident here. That looks like the beach we used to call "Tracks" in the 1980's. My truck was broken into on 3 separate occasions while snorkeling out there. Not much Aloha on that part of the island.
