Speed up Windows 10 with MSCONFIG (2021)

I have an Intel i5 8th gen CPU, with base clock speed of 1.6 GHz. Recent I tried selecting the max. number of cores. But due to some reasons I reverted back to the original 1 core settings.

But I can see in Task Manager, my CPU base speed is locked at 1.8 GHz, which was 1.6 GHz before.

How can I revert it back to 1.6 GHz safely?

Thanks for the tutorial! I have a question though. Lets say you disabled EasyAntiCheat, would the service start again when you opened an app that needs it or would it stay forever closed unless you re-enable it?

Question: When i try to change my number of processors to 8 in the boot advance options, and hit okay then head back to the general tab my start up selection changes to Selective Startup, is this normal and okay?

Because i do choose the normal startup but then my processors change back to just 1.

Hey can you help please? So basically I tried to test out a core processor lower than my max and I saved it, but now I can't see my max processors but can only see any processor below the one i'm currently using.

So guys this is good but but but go to boot than more options than up right press the prozzesornummber and turn it to max itakes PC a lot faster all it does is makes you CPU use all is power it won't harm your CPU tho
