I love the theme of the main character being an old boxer who's obsolete in a world of robot boxing. Which is reflected in Atom being an old model itself, and through Shadow Boxing, Charlie re-lives his boxing days and re-introduces the human element into boxing. And much like how Atom never stays down, Charlie picks himself back up.

Nice concept. He is training the robot by training himself. Getting all that rust off of his own skills. Atom is as good as the boxer he imitates.

A large part of boxing is protecting your head. If you design a fighting robot with any kind of sense though, you wouldn't put any vital component in such a vulnerable place as the head.
