I'm still on FB every day for one thing, the groups. Same with Reddit. Best for discussing topics in specific context, and for asking opinions and giving explanations. Overall feels more genuine interactions.

I hate how now all social media apps are follower-centric. It feeds the ego of the creator/influencer and rewards engagement baiting posts.

I was on Twitter since it started and finally deleted my last account for good recently. It has gotten so bad on X with all the pornbots and white nationalist accounts. I dabbled in Threads but found it quite boring and too beholden to the algorithm. I would see the same posts over and over again. I was on Bluesky since the beginning and for a long time it was super quiet. Now, it's basically what Twitter was back in the day, but with a lot more features. LOVE the feeds and labelers and ability to really customize the experience. Also like that it is decentralized and that the founders have a vision for the platform that is beyond making a single tech bro a billionaire.
