Everyone: Snow has so much bacteria in it
Me: Contemplating how many diseases I have accumulated for eating snow as a kid

If you melt that snow and test the water quality it is actually has all kinds of bacteria and stuff in it

That looks good! abut I recommend not using real* snow when making slushie and use crushed ice. Because snow can have all sorts of bacteria in it that we can’t see.

As Harry styles says “And don’t eat yellow snow” lol 😂

Fun fact 😃! The snow from the ground is from the dirt and dirty water. When snow falls same with rain, it sweeps the stuff from the ground up to the sky and turns into snow, hail, rain, etc. Even if the snow looks clean it’s made from all the stuff in the outside ground. 😃

Katie please don't eat the snow off the ground. Just crush some ice cubes.

Instead of using dirty snow, just crush 9-10 ice cubes in a blender. It will turn out same like the snow but cleaner

I wonder if she knows that the snow is still dirty even if it doesn't have dirt or grass in it or around it

Do NOT eat snow; especially not light snow that's melting or near roads. Snow contains a lot of pollutants, dirt, sand and pesticide. It's basically a net that catches all nearby bacteria and you never know if someone else/an animal stepped on it before. Not hating on anyone, you can eat whatever you want since it's your body but with the pandemic, it's better safe than sorry. 🤝

Edit: Thanks for the likes! I never thought I have to write this but because of certain people I would like to add that the reason I made this comment was to **inform** people, not to start arguments on eating snow. Have an ice day !! (pun intended)

What I recommend for this is leave the cup out overnight when it snows and then go from there. Clean looking snow can still have bacteria and by doing this you get fresh snow right from the sky

Edit: I know this doesn’t mean perfectly clean snow! I was just saying if you make the choice of eating snow than that is a better option. Just trying to help

That looks so good!!!! I don’t think that eating snow is healthy though. But if this was really delicious then you can always used crushed ice :)
