This was long lost, but found again on a repaired hard drive. This is not a TV capture - this was taken from the camera streams at Glastonbury 2005 before they were sent through the compression for TV and before the channel logos were added - hence, no logos...

wow his backing band are TOTALLY on target here! what a brilliant version of this classic. I've seen so many videos of Ian's solo live shows, and usually the band kinda drops the ball---and so do Ian's vocals (LOL) but in this one everything is right on electric!

It really highlights how much Mani, Reni and Squire were what made The Roses special. It sounds like a wedding band. It isn't bad - it's just so plastic and soulless.

Until Sally I was never happy
I needed so much more
Rain clouds oh, they used to chase me
Down they would pour
Join my tears
Allay my fears
Sent to me from heaven
Sally Cinnamon you're my world

Pop, pop, pop, blow, blow bubble gum
You taste of cherryade
There is something hey you must show me
From what you are made
Sugar and spice
And all things nice
Sent to me from heaven
Sally Cinnamon you're my world
You are my world
Your eyes are gazing back
From every little piece of glass
You seem to smile from every blade
Sally Cinnamon you are my world
Then I put the letter back
In the place where it was found
In the pocket of a jacket
On a train in town
Sent to her from heaven
Sally Cinnamon you're her world

Ian Brown is one of the greats. I love his cover of Michael Jackson's 'Earth Song'.

My nickname growing up was Sally.
My mates would sing this about me all the time.
One of my most oldschool memories is when I had a girlfriend and my mates followed us down the street singing this! 😂
She thought it was properly cool. The opposite to the intended effect.

This is as good as any Rose's performance! Absolutely brilliant.

How did he ever get famous? He always sounds like a drunk karaoke singer!

He sounds great but the auto tune is so obvious. He’s never sounded so in-key
