Hello all, This is how i get fire wood without paying for it. Helping others is always a very good thing to do in life. Bartering for resources is better as no money exchanges hand, a perfect way to avoid funding the so called " elite". That's happy days !

Brilliant!!!! Phil and I have bought a load of flat packed metal raised beds for our garden. We were lucky enough to make a connection with a local garden tidy upperer. He now comes along every few days fills our front garden with tree branches, shrubby bits etc. We fill our green bin with chopped up bits, wheel it round the back and mostly fill our completed raised beds sort of Hugelcultur. We will cover this with compost and start planting. We are getting huge amounts for free and no need for a gym membership. We also got a new rescue dog so we are getting fitterer. I'm 64 and Phil is 73, I reckon we're rocking it. Take care

That’s a bloody good idea! I’m going to offer Mr G to local tree chaps. We spent £150 on wood last year and still have some left. So one day with a tree surgeon would sort us!

Hi Gary and folks. Thanks Gary for many uses of the word 'wood, ' lol! I now know. If I am down your way and I need a tree surgeon I'll know who to contact and you can have the trimmings! Let's all do our so as not to fund the 'elite.' I can see how busy you are with sowing seeds etc. We are lambing our few ewes and helping out with family and neighbours lambing. It has been very good lambing weather for the last week or so, just a little hail, dry underfoot and fairly mild. I hope all is well with you, thanks for another great vid.

Hey Gary nice video! I finally got my land, fingers crossed it all goes through. We got 64 acres partially logged so we have plenty of wood. Hopefully it will be good wood. We have a lot to clear the loggers took what they wanted left us a mess. Probably 40 plus acers not logged do YAY Ihave my own forest. Unfortunately I think I am to old for the work. LOL Cheers! Amy
