Hallo. Ich höre nun seit ca. 20 Jahren Metal und auch wirklich jede erdenkliche Richtung. Als mir hier gerade Avalon in den Algorithmus gespült wurde dachte ich mir WOW die Mukke geht nach vorne auch wenn die Qualität der Aufnahme nicht wirklich meinem Geschmack entspricht... ich weiß das soll alles möglichst True und Oldschool wirken und das checke ich ja auch. Als dann jedoch der Gesang einsetzte, habe ich die Welt nicht mehr verstanden. Erst dachte ich man hätte die Aufnahme wirklich mit einem Sony Ericsson Walkman Handy aufgenommen aber das hätte dann meine Erwartungen doch schlichtweg übertroffen. Ernst gemeinte Frage denn ich möchte nicht über Geschmack diskutieren aber warum zur Hölle kann man denn den Kram nicht einfach gut abmischen lassen ? Das der Gesang ebenfalls Geschmackssache ist, ist mir klar aber für mich persönlich hat diese Art von Falcette Gesang (wenn man es denn dann so nennen darf) keine Substanz um die Härte der Musik zu untermahlen und erinnert mich leider schlichtweg an Mickey Mouse auf der Pferderanch. Bei zum Beispiel 4:45 hatte ich kurz das Gefühl, dem Sänger Hilfe leisten zu müssen oder einem Herzinfarkt nahe zu sein, da mich die Lautstärke kurz zum zweiten Mal heute aufgeweckt hat. Niemand soll hier persönlich angegriffen werden aber die Musik geht gut nach vorne und alles hat seine Daseinsberechtigung (vielleicht ist das hier ja auch eine neue Stilrichtung) aber mit anderen Vocals wäre das hier alles in meinen Augen ne ganze Nummer aushaltbarer. P.S. habe jetzt nochmal nachgedacht und vielleicht verstehe ich diese Art von Gesang auch einfach nicht... mhm man lernt ja nie aus.

Very raw speed metal with a sloppiness not least in the barely audible but managing to get nowhere near attempt at King Diamond in the vocals. In a strange way adds to the charm and has all the trappings of a long lost rediscovered demo from 40 years ago that would get diehard aficionados of the era salivating with delight and making understandable allowances for the shortfalls. The fact is it isn't and was released a few months back. The music's great but Deanosaurio Del Rock should stick to playing bass and boys, get yourself a decent singer.
