Gary Vincent and his son Desean are enjoying a beautiful day by the pool when they are approached by the manager of the private club. Mr. Martindale has been working at the club for decades and has never seen Gary or Desean before. He falsely assumes that they are trespassing on private property and demands to see their membership cards. Unfortunately for Mr. Martindale not only is Mr. Vincent a member of the club, he is also the new President of the Mango Park Country Club.

It always makes me laugh when a boss fires someone for being a racist jerk and then the person who just got fired says "No, you can't do that".

That manager was just down right rude. He should of just asked for membership card. He didn't have to be racist. He got what he deserved in the end! 👍

So ironic how when they begin harassing you and then you stand up for yourself, then they accuse you of threatening them and then resort to calling the cops or something. They started it yet play the victim card.

Why can’t we treat people with different skin color or disability or from a different country like human beings?

My dad refused to join the only local country club for two reasons. This was in the late 60's. One, as he put it, please excuse his country boy expression, "there ain't no colored folks there." Two, they told him that he wouldn't have to worry about meeting the right people anymore, if someone wasn't a member, they were the wrong people. He walked out the door. As a business owner, he had clients that insisted on eating there. He said he used a green ticket, i.e. paid cash, to get into their restaurant. He rejected many of those clients. His language was rough, always said "colored folks", but he treated all races the same. He was pleased any time he was able to give POC business, accept them as clients, became friends. When he passed, we asked his black minister to do the service, I read the Indian Prayer, something he mentioned wanting done many years prior. I know a few of the attendees were very uncomfortable. Maybe for the first time, they learned who he really was.

And not ONE! LITTLE! BLAME! On Mr. Vincent. Or Desean. Or *ANY* other dark-skinned person, for your fair termination, Mr. Martindale! And you know what else? Legacy isn't everything!

30 years, you say you'd have been next week? Well, make that 29 years, and uh... 358 days, seeing as this is not a leap year! At least I *think* it's 358 days, if you mean exactly a week, not a day later, not a day sooner.
