Getting to Know the ASH Scientific Committees

The American Society of Hematology (ASH) has a number of scientific committees, each with a specific focus that ultimately feeds into the Society’s overall mission of conquering blood diseases worldwide. The responsibilities of the scientific committees center around three key areas: developing the annual meeting Scientific Program, defining research priorities and setting a policy agenda for hematology, and identifying candidates for committee membership as well as ASH’s most prestigious awards.
