I'm glad they FINALLY put the Kabuto helmet back in the Exchange. I missed out on it when it first dropped because I didn't have Infinite at the time.

I haven't played infinite today, but I suspect that the linear koth is probably like those infection gamemodes where you basically go in a straight line to get to the exit.

Fun fact, any thing that was in the exchange in the past is still available for spartan points, you just need to go to it in the armor hall

I find it hard to call myself a halo fan these days. What’s there to be a fan of? The old days? Hell no, those have come and gone, they’ve lost their luster and Bungie’s a shitty company- 343 had plenty of ups and down but fumbling the bag with Halo Infinite was probably the straw that broke the camel’s back. This game was damn near perfect- fucking amazing. Fun, modern without feeling hyper-optimized, simple, and my god did it look stellar. Utterly beautiful. Yeah- the campaign map was a bit same-y but it was a nice change of pace. They literally had one of the best foundations for a game, and they threw the instructions out and said “we’ll build it ourselves!” And now we end up with a shitty popsicle-stick house. I do not understand how it’s so hard to just give the people what they want but- I’m done. I don’t even think I’ll be hyped for the next Halo title. Or anything Halo, for that matter. I think the only thing that would get me excited would be the fucking Mega Construx sets.

I don’t think it can be underscored just how bad of a state Halo is in right now. It‘s genuinely depressing. It hurt to uninstall Halo Infinite knowing what it could have been- what we wanted it to be. This may very well seem overdramatized but I lived on this franchise. It’s what got me started on FPS games in the first place. This series molded a good part of my preferences and expectations for this amazing series- and to see it be so mishandled has finally broken me. Halo 4, I could let slide. The story, I enjoyed. Gameplay was alright- didn’t really play much MP besides Spartan Ops. Halo 5 was fine too- even if the story wasn’t too good, but I could live with it. I cannot begin to imagine how many people were immensely let down with Halo Infinite. They had the key to the pearly gates and shoved it up their ass.

I don’t think anyone deserves Halo at this rate. Not even the fans. I think it’s time to let it rest or put it down. Because I don’t think I can stomach seeing any more harm come to it.
