I recently bought my wife the "She Reads Truth" Bible as a gift and she surprised me with the "He Reads Truth" Bible in return. Neither of us had planned this out...But it was such a great surprise. The two bibles work really well for couples studies or casual reading together.

Both bibles are very well designed as you all mentioned and really do encourage you to pick them up. I'm a former design studio owner myself, so I can really appreciate this.

One of the really cool things about this Bible that I didn’t hear you mention was that in the New Testament when things are quoted or directly referenced from the Old Testament it is bolded and there is a footnote showing you where it is found in the Old Testament 😱 For example in Acts 13:41 it is bold and references Habakkuk 1:5

I have the pink gold version. I have MANY Bibles, this is a favorite. I disagree on the size, it is perfect for me and smaller than many Bibles. I would like to see a genuine large print version.

Hi Becca! This is a long one so hold on tight! I grew up in a KJV only family. I hated reading it because it was always used as punishment or discipline and I didn’t understand what I was reading. I am 34 now and this year I started a chronologic plan with the Bible Recap. I am a little behind but just like Becca says, the Lord has grace. I started reading after getting this same SRT Bible and have read more of the Bible than I ever have before. And I understand so much of it! I have two more books till I am done with the entire Old Testament. And my 4 and 5 year old boys have loved talking about where I am reading in it. I invite them in when they see me sitting down to read and they have so many great questions! I tried to tell my parents and Aunt/Uncle about how amazing it is that I am reading the Bible and learning so much! I mentioned that it was the CSB and their first and only thing about it was that I need to be careful reading it because they take stuff out and change things and that the KJV is the only true translation. I was so incredibly heart broken and they have still yet to ask me about what I am reading or learning. However, I am so proud of myself for reading so much and trying to apply it to my life and thank God for all his grace and patience and mercy. Thank you for being such a great resource for me. I totally agree with you about Leviticus. The first time I read the bible through was in the NIV, and I found Leviticus harder to get through than all those names in 1st Chronicles.
