When I was younger, my one boss thought he'd save money by hiring the plumbers' apprentice off his normal shift to install a water heater; well the young guy turned it on before filling it and burnt it out so the boss had to buy a whole new tank.

Thanks! Great video. I’m starting to look at plumbing as a trade before continuing going to college. Yesterday I put a bunch of rice into the garbage disposal and clogged it up. I then flooded my whole kitchen trying to undo the pipes under the sink, but the rice was too far. It was late at night, and that was a fun cleanup. I didn’t have a snake either, so I had to wait for the maintenance to fix it today. But either way through this hard lesson I realized that I might want to do this one day, especially because it’s a job that will be around where ever I go. I also didn’t like the feeling of not knowing what to do in that situation. I really appreciate your videos. Headed to the local community college tomorrow to talk about starting up a certificate program!
