There is yet an unexplored area of Turkey rail route. It can also provide a rail route for Syria, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, jordan, kuwait, Qatar and other Gulf states, Israel and Palestine for sending or receiving goods amongst these countries as well as with China, Russia Korea and even Europe.

It seems like you left out the leap in railway construction between 1923 and 1945 on purpose. The video jumps from pre-WW1 to post-WW2. For those who are interested; the total length of railway network doubled in the early republican years compared to the network built during the Ottoman era. Founders of the Republic attributed great importance to the railroads and the backbone of the network is still these lines built between 1923-1945. Pity that it seems like the state TV channel, TRT has a problem with the early years and the founders of the republic…
