My mom used to make this for years! This tastes like the OG deep fried McDonald's apple pies and they're seriously addictive! If you make good lumpia, you know you gotta make choke because it's never enough. Same goes with these bites. The best thing is that you can put whatever pie filling McDonald's has discontinued or even the taro or ube pies exclusive to Hawaii that we never get in the mainland!

Suggestions: for better hygiene could use whisked egg, brush to seal edges, and probably less oil to cook the egg rolls or triangle dumplings as in yaki gyozas.
