Did you notice this in Helluva Boss?

During season 2 episode 10 there’s a bunch of callbacks and references to previous episodes that you might’ve missed. Let me explain.

So my personal favourite is the parallels between blitz and stolas. During the episode we see blitz watching tv eating junk food. This is obviously a reference to season 1 episode 7, where stolas did the same thing.

During the fight scene with rolando, blitz falls into the water. This reminds me alot of the look my way song with stolas.

If we compare stolas at the party in apology tour, to blitz at the hellhound party in queen bee we can again see how the two characters are like copies of eachother.

And lastly we have all those different dead millie’s which i covered in a previous short. The artist who did the concept art for that scene posted the designs on instagram which was really awesome.

The fact the show has been running long enough that there are enough callbacks and references in the show ITSELF is wild to me . Where has time gone 💀

There was also a reference to Truth seekers in the beginning of the episode and basically the episode starts with Millie walking into the building with coffee cups and if you look moxxie’s cup, his name is spelled wrong and there is a lot of writing on it, this is a reference to truth seekers because in that episode, there was a scene where moxxie tells the agents about his coffee ingredients and he just yaps about that and he also said that they misspell his name as either, “foxxie” or “roxxie”

When Millie is bringing the team coffee, Moxie's coffee says Foxxie, a reference to the truth seekers episode where he says that baristas can never get his name right

Also, there is one reference of Scooby Doo, when everyone is running from Blitzø and Millie, and then appears allot of doors with the characters going to random doors and making them go to another doors and etc(sorry if my explanation is bad, but this is definitely my fav reference )

Also a main plot point that Blitz has is his fear if being alone however when you see who each character has Stolas I feel is actually the more loneyly one. Blitz has Moxxie, Millie, Loona and Fizz now... while Stolas has a man he thought that he would have and... now only has Octavia who keep herslef in her roo. The whole time. While Stolas is wallowing away with food hes alone... but when Blitz does it Millie comes eventually... Stolas suffers from being Lonely way more than Blitz in my opinion

Seeing these parallels makes me feel so happy! Damn, they really are mirroring each other! And I didn’t even think of the Look My Way reference!
