The Lagos state government is doing a fantastic job. In the coming years, Lagos will have the best rail line in Africa, if not already, and one of the best in the world. Nigerian people and the government must make sure it is well maintained.

This is an example of public policy regarding transport sector in subsahararian area. Dakar city has also taken this path. Instead to go in Europe to try to understand how Africans locals governments Can act to reduice GHG emissions in cities, African Union must organize training trip in Lagos or Dakar for local authorities in order to take experience.
This kind of initiatives must be developed. Time IS to set UP south -South cooperation.

This is how train stations in europe are and here in Switzerland they are clean every day. I am not sure how this station looks after 1 year.

I took the train some days back and it was fun all the way to and from agbado back to yaba since it was a public holiday, i just hope when its commercialized it will be affordable. my take i noticed there was no announcement before departures and arrivals, the rail from Agege to iju was not free as there were scavengers on the rail 3ce the train almost stopped just to avoid killing someone around abatjour back and lastly is there provision for 1st aid medics on board.

metro train looks like a intercity train, why does the red and blue line have different rolling stock ? the seats on the red line don't look appropriate, . definitely a red flag.
