How medal event is judged:
1 heat of 16 athletes competing with two :45 second runs each. Best run counts, scored 1-100. If an athlete falls during their run, the clock buzzer will sound and the run is over. Top 8 athletes from the elimination will advance to the final. Judges will score competitors throughout the contest.

New judges please; its called slopeSTYLE. Creativity is what grows the sport and should be rewarded. Spinning as much as possible gets so old both on the rails and jumps. Alex Hall can spin like crazy, but chooses to do more creative tricks like the reverts and hand-drags which makes it awesome to watch.

Obviously not ideal for the competition itself, but I love when bobbles happen early and they hit the jumps for fun... almost mind-numbing to see all the dubs and trips, and to get a nice cork 3 or styled out rodeo 7 like Matej, it's so fun to watch

Really wish they gave all the skiers 3 runs instead of the weird playoff and final format. I would have killed for a third run from the guys who didn’t qualify. Most of the runs in finals ended up being pretty similar to the runs in playoffs anyways. That being said, thanks to the Xgames and skiers for a solid event
