I love how when starlight hugs Maeve she thinks that starlight will hurt her but realises she didn’t. I guess this shows even after everything she still can’t trust starlight

This was a nice plot change that amazon did. Maeve was complicit in alot of bad stuff but she qlso knew the moment she did anything against homelander she was dead, so she really had no choice but to be cold and act like nothing mattered to her. At least this way she can make it up to her girlfriend for the resr of her life, a good twist in my opinion

In a way, acting with compassion led to the best possible ending for Maeve, even though it didn't look like it would at the time. If she had kept with it, most of the mains would have died, Homelander may have killed her and escaped, and even if she did somehow defeat him, Soldier Boy would probably have killed her soon afterward. Instead, she managed against incredible odds to lose the powers she hated, survive what seemed to be certain death, and have a quiet, undiscovered rescue that allowed her to safely retire and leave her pain behind after her death apparent with (almost) no one else the wiser. I know...statistically impossible, right? But hey, it is a TV show...

Don’t know how she can just lose her powers but I’m glad she gets a happy ending. I kinda want her there to see Homelander’s eventual downfall tho.

They were talking about moving to a farm, in the season 4 trailer there’s suped up farm animals, coincidence? I think not

She should have not survived from that fall. No amount of cope can change the fact that it was a terrible writing choice. They wanted to give her a dramatic hero sacrifice but they couldn't commit to it. She got blasted by Soldier Boy and fell hundreds of meters off a skyscraper.

They should have either committed to the sacrifice, or have the scene play out differently. This was terrible

Only reason why I hate this ending is because Maeve's girlfriend deserves better. She breaks and throws things around her, sleeps with other men immediately after the break up, gets humiliated by Vought and hides things from her.

She's for the streets.

Now that I’ve seen the clip it totally looks like a cop out… they drawn it out by having everyone looking at her like”we’re the real main characters this is your moment though” and that explosion should’ve left her looking way worst than a wounded eye. Something about the power scaling is off.
