My first run with this item i took damage immediately after getting it on my like, 3rd floor and took it all the way to beast and it fell while i was in a pesticide cloud and i instinctively dodged it using dark arts without realizing it until my friends on my stream pointed out it was no longer above my head, have yet to see this item since

I feel a bit guilty being praised for patience :|
I did not actually wait 16 hours. Cheat Engine made it 5 times faster, so it should be around 3 hours only. And I just left it there and went to sleep lol.

I think it is safe to make a conclusion if the sword does not fall after 140 mins.
If you find something incorrect, just let me know (maybe with proof as well so that I can verify it).

Tooth and Nail saved my Damocles run with Samson to the Witness.
My first item was "Metronome" which on the second use, gave me Damocles. And yes, it didnt go away.

I took so many hits, and yet the sword didnt fall on me... for a VERY long time. Guess when it triggered?!
On Corpse II. Also, it triggered on the 1 second invincibility of the tooth and nail.

That spared me from losing the run, and i beat witness afterwards.
I will NEVER forget that run. :3
