Matt buys them vintage Fenders like they were Squiers.

Jazzmasters will always be my bread and butter. My home is a Jazzmaster, a warm fuzz, a chorus, and a reverb. Doesn't get much better than that.

Nice, mine is a 1960 that I bought in 1964. I still play it occasionally! Love it 😊

I love how you never flex your skills in your vids. You just show us the guitar and the tones.

Sounds like a master for sure taking a test drive, beautiful

Jesus man it sounds perfect. This is the tone I've been looking for. The hints of fuzz, the subtle distortion. I need to know the deets of the setup!

That's really cool these guitars don't get much attention I don't think not like they deserve. These are my second favorite to a strat. Sounds killer through your setup, nice playing

Wow those pickups sound amazing! Theyre screaming! My 65 reissue JM sounds fantastic, but I wonder how much the age affects the sound of those pickups. Also they werent made as consistent back then, so some are better than others depending on taste.

It’s beautiful!

You may want take off the bar on the tailpiece. It’s an aftermarket part to prevent the strings from popping out, but it also kills the behind the bridge harmonics that are typical for a Jazzmaster. A heavier set of strings and a shim in the neck is a much more authentic way to deal with the string popping issue.
