I joined the Zora Neale Huston train late too! Last year, I read her play “Colorstruck” and followed up with her memoir. I think I enjoy reading about authors first before I get into their fiction to give a framework of who they are and how it shapes their writing.

The artists way absolutely changed my life! Get on it girl, because it’s so worth the dedication to the schedule.

Also, going to add Octavia Butler and June Jordan to my TBR. Need that type of literary energy in my life!! Great book chat :)
