I am from Papua New Guinea. I picked up a homeless boy off the street and became a single father to him at 11 years old. I raised and educated him until he was 24 years old when he got sick and died, 3 years ago. I was devastated and broken. I was grieving when I first heard this song by Selah. For me it was heaven sent. I still cry when I hear this song. It means so much to my faith in God.

I cry when I hear this song. When I think of what Jesus has done for me, I feel so ashamed of the many times I have failed Him. But this song nails it on all levels! Yet not I but through Christ in me. No more fear,  no more sorrow, no more doubt because I know I can stand with joy before the throne because of what Jesus has done and what His Word tells me. I now have confidence to proclaim the Gospel because no matter what the world wants to throw at me I know it is yet not I but through Christ in me. Thank you Holy Spirit for indwelling me and comforting and teaching me the ways of the Lord. Thank you Father for Your Word and provision for me and adopting me as Your son. Thank you Jesus for completing my redemption on the cross.Praise be to God, Amen.
