In this video, you mention a "circle scarf" (AKA "infinity scarf") which is going out of fashion. If I may be so bold, I'd like to suggest that instead of sending their infinity scarf to a landfill, followers of your channel might consider cutting their infinity scarves at the seam and hemming them for a whole new look. Creating a hem is super easy -- it's just a straight stitch -- and we all need to be cognizant of the necessity to renew/reuse/recycle our fashions whenever possible as the world's population skyrockets to 8 billion. Thank you for this interesting video about modern and outdated fashion trends! I'm a doll clothing designer, and your insights gave me some helpful ideas...

Those were great suggestions, some of the best I've heard. I love how this inherently suggests sustainability, as opposed to ditching pieces like skinny genes.

My personal favorite autumn look is a sweater dress or sweater + tweed mini skirt paired with over the knee boots & a blazer or jacket! I dress pretty modestly, so I only have a little skin on my leg showing. I feel just the right amount of sexy when I wear those outfits!

These videos are sometimes hard to deliver tactfully and you are the best at it. I feel educated and not insulted. Haha Great tips!

Such a good video!!! So greatful someone makes a difference between "not trendy" and "out of style"!! You can be stylish and not trendy. You can wear non-trendy clothes without looking outdated. Just, adapt it, without loosing your essence. If you like wearing skinny jeans, because you feel pretty, confortable, is part of youe "personal uniform"...you totally can :D

Great tips on how to use what you have and repurpose. Even if you are not looking to follow trends, finding new ways to style the same pieces feels just as good as buying new clothes. Ladies, try new combinations with what you already have!

Are there any outfits / styles / looks that you are just OVER and want some new ways to wear them? Let me know! ❤

Brilliant suggestions Anna! Love the tips you make for updating skinny jeans rather than just getting rid of them, which I think we're often tempted to do when we have wardrobe items that are no longer "in".

Yes I agree - tact is an approach that isn’t always utilized in these types of videos. Well done! This was very helpful Laura

All of these fresh tips feel very 2010 to me! I belted everything back then, had sweater dresses… and ballet flats galore! I suppose it all come back. Just interesting. I def may try to belt my blazer next week at work!

I love sweater dresses, always have! They're comfy, even with control top tights, packable, versatile, elegant and yet edgy (if accessorized right.). Dress them up or down. I always belt them. Express makes nice inexpensive ones and I just ordered a brown midi from A&F. I bought a Ted Baker stunner, a couple from Desigual and WHBM, and I have a cashmere one from NAP. THATS how much I love them. I live in Canada so they're practical too.

As for exposing skin, winter. I love to show ankle but I'd get frostbite.

I bought a satin bias cut skirt just below knee in an antique gold color. The fabric is thick and drapey. I wear a aztec print Billabong fleece pullover on top and vintage Italian slingback low heel pumps. I love the pop of color and polish with casual.

This is fantastic content Anna ! 10/10 very realistic updates with wearable ideas for practical life. Hoping to see more “what I wear in a week” from you in the future. I love taking your looks and trying to re-create “mom life” friendly looks. Add a belt or roll a cuff and you look Vogue ready at the playground 😂 mundane mom life, but I’m still Anna inspired & I feelin good about myself!

Thanks for inspiring me to do me everyday and not wait for the right occasion ✨🥂🍓♾🎉

That cardigan is so run-of-the-mill. Look for the unique.

Thanks so much for the suggestion of belting blazers. I have a beautiful sort of metallic brocade jacket that I got a really good deal on but that was not a great cut for me. I saw it in my closet and thought of your suggestion, tried belting it, and I’m really pleased with it. Thanks!

I love to take my scarfs and make them tops! Like a halter or just any way you can come up with. They are extremely comfortable and that is my kind of style lol

Love how you are giving some alternatives for wearing some pieces. I have my ballerina flats from years back and they will still work for now because there no change in the styling and shape of things and I had invested is plain sophisticated basic color or prints (was for having in my purse for in office days taking off heels and they were lighter than carrying sneakers around. Thanks for sharing and blessing to you and all in the days to come.
