Thrift Store Haul - Farmhouse Decor

Today I went shopping at the thrift store. Today's thrift store haul will show you all of the farmhouse decor that I picked up.

First off, I would check for a name on the bottom of the vase. Look up the company to see if outs worth anything. Then decide from there if you should paint it or maybe sell it. I personally like the vase as is. I picture cat tails or dried thistles in it.

I absolutely love all your finds!!! The brown vase with trickling down glaze is fine as it is. It has very nice organic lines with those handles. But if you were to paint it, is paint the top two thirds white and create a trickling effect with white going over the existing trickling of other paints that's already on it. Great finds!! You have my taste in stuff! And I'm loving the prices you paid for it. Closer to what it was worth back in the day when farmhouse wasn't Vintage but just normal every day stuff. I love it so much

You have some very beautiful pieces. Your thrift store is very reasonable. Your pieces you got would have probably doubled in price, even before the half off, in thrift stores by me. I love your decor. I’m trying to do things with my tiny apt. Have fun. 😊

I like the vase that color for Fall and I would put a bunch of tall Cotton in it! If you still don’t like it after a week or two, I would chalk paint it white, distress it a little and then hot glue some rope or heavy jute twine around midways :)

I taught at the Zoo for a number of years, and for some reason, the giraffe vs zebra is a common thing. Don't feel bad.

I love all your stuff I would use that by a fireplace sitting on the Hearth of a fireplace to one side and I would not put anything in it because it is very tall I think it would look awkward with something in it but that's me everybody to their own taste beautiful I love all your fines you always give me ideas

I'm in love with the shape of the vace with the handel. Paint it black and glitter it up with silver glitter looking like the glitter is running down the sides of it. I'd check with the experts on the milk bottle. Some are worth some $$

I would spray paint or chalk paint the tall vase and wrap the neck with jute...to go along with the farm house decor add some cotton stems

Try the vase in one of your vignettes before painting it to see if it speaks to you. Sometimes you just need to step out of the box and if not just paint that baby white. 😊
