lol all these lies... Colleges do only look at your jr&sr grades because they are more rigorous compared to fresh&soph.
GPA is the most important factor. dont let anyone tell you otherwise

@jkicool They pay attention to everything you do in high school, but 11th is the most important. What you want to make sure you do though is to continue going up the scale. So in other words since your taking AP dont stop taking it as you start getting into higher grade levels. Try to make sure every time you go to the next grade level your classes was harder then the one before so like in a graph the lines would go up as you progressed.

I want to go to Yale, and I am working super hard. I have one question though. Will elementary school effect anything in accelerated colleges?

BS BS!!!! wanna know the truth from a Harvard undergrad student? ok first of all obviously GPAs are important, for example most ppl here at Harvard average a 3.5 from high school and there is a minimum requirement for your GPA depends on colleges you attend. with that being said colleges also just want your MONEY!!! so my opinion for all you guys is 1. meet the min GPA requirement 2. meet the min ACT requirement 3. improve 1 or both of these according to your financial needs.(better ACT more $)

@MsSkifi not at all. usually colleges and universities usually only look at 11 and 12, if 11 at all! they are important for getting you up to the level of 11th and 12th grades but if there was say a 50% mark in math in grade 8 and you improved in high school and it went up to a 80% over time in grade 11 they don't even glance at what you got in grade 8 they will only see that you are a great student in grade 11. that improvment is what the grades in between are for. to help you get there.

They look at how much money your parents make thanks to the FASFA. Colleges are a business, they know that somebody needs to pay the bill and that's all they care about.

Very little about what you said is true.
1.) You didn't go to harvard to start so don't lie.
2.) ACT/SAT scores are importent.
3.) GPA is very importent as well.
4.) I got into the college of my choose (Northeastern) not because any of there(GPA 3.4 and ACT 29)
5.) Two biggest factors= rigorous classes + I started my own business.
If you want to get into a good college you have to think outside the box its not just about grades and test scores.

better ACT and SAT... wat have you, more likely you will get more scholarship from the school, and more likely you will get into a better college. better college (usually) = a better job, better job=more money :)
